The Price of Loyalty, the Education of Paul O’Neill and the dubya admin

Been reading the Price of Loyalty by Ron Suskind for a class, O’Neill was the CEO of Alcoa aluminum that made his fortune and like Jordan to basketball, returned to politics after his retirement from it. Only in Chapter 3 right now but as Secretary Treasury O’Neill must learn to keep his mouth shut since the opposition is watching him like a hawk. For instance, commenting once about the strength of the economy over the strength of the dollar lead to the euro catching up 10 cents overnight. Careful, careful Mr. O’Neill. not use to being among the birds in the nest and conditioned to be the shot caller could get you in trouble.

Tao of Pooh

recently read the Tao of Pooh, great book. The way to happiness doesn’t start anywhere, it’s a continuous cycle that we all are already on. It’s simple and unobtainable because we all already have obtained it if we stop trying to find it and realize it’s within and without us. But I’ve said too much, those whose speak do not know, and those who know do not speak.

Haven’t finished the Te of Piglet.
